Son of the legendary Johan Cruyff, the former Dutch international talks about the winning mentality he developed while playing at two of the world’s biggest clubs, but also of the fighting spirit fostered at a smaller club such as Alavés, with whom he reached the 2001 UEFA Cup final. Experience of clubs at different levels gave him a broader perspective when embarking upon his subsequent career as both coach and sporting director, and Cruyff goes on to give his insights into both roles, with particular reference to his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
