My Reptile Pet! (Beginner)

Zach: Hello! My name is Zach and this is Izzy! What type of animal is your pet? Zach: Izzy is a leopard gecko. She is 2 years old and she is a reptile. She has yellow and white skin and a brown, spotty tail. Geckos live up to 30 years and grow up to 25 centimetres long. Wild geckos live in the desert. Where does your pet live? Zach: Izzy lives in a tank in my bedroom. It contains a heat lamp in order to keep the tank hot. It has places for her to drink, hide and explore. Izzy is nocturnal; she sleeps during the day and comes out at night. How often do you feed your pet? Zach: I feed Izzy once every two days, but first, I wash my hands! She eats locusts and worms. They’re quite disgusting! What does your pet like to do? Zach: She loves to explore around my bed and my bedroom. She also likes crawling over my arms and my body. She really likes being held.
