Firstly, if you didn't know, Akiko has decided to dip her feet into politics! She is running for office in Tokyo under the LDP. Everyone, let's wish her good luck! Akiko is a very versatile and seasoned businesswoman, so I think she may do well in the world of politics. Secretly though, I want her to become a comedian. She is actually so hilarious without even knowing This song is literally so catchy. I just love everything about it. Akiko actually has a lot of really good songs in her discography, more-so than other soloists. Interestingly enough, as most Onyanko songwriters/arrangers moved on to other people, many of them continued to work with Akiko until she went on singing hiatus in the early 90s. Even Tsugutoshi Goto who had pretty much moved on to becoming Shizuka Kudo's main songwriter, which he was until the mid-90s. (He became much less active around the time he got married to Sonoko Kawai.) I own nothing but the translation.
