Original Stirnpanzer - WW1 German Helmet Armour Sniper Brow Plate

A short video showing an original WW1 German Stirnpanzer or armoured brow plate. Also called sniper plate or machine gunners plate. This one is marked by maker RV and shows a lot of original paint. It weighs nearly 2.6KG and is completely impractical. It also has a depot 'AK' ink stamp which is quite rare. The strap on this one is unfortunately been removed, however a old museum inventory tag remains.
