From Solitary IV (2017). By Trond Engum, composer and guitarist for Norwegian experimental band The 3rd and The Mortal, The Soundbyte is a solo venture intended to pierce the dark heart of avant-garde and experimental metal. Joining Engum in the band is drummer Rune Hoemsne, with the pair previously playing together in experimental outfit The 3rd And The Mortal. Guest vocalists Tone Åse and Kirsti Huke also feature on the record.
