In this video, I visit Lise Carter, a pediatric occupational therapist, at her clinic in Reno called Children in Motion. Lise Carter has over 20 years of experience as an occupational therapist with a large clientele. She walks through various activities commonly used by occupational therapists to help patients develop motor skills, including better proprioception, interception, and vestibular senses. Lise Carter also explains how many of the items used for therapy can be easily made or obtained for use at home. She uses various equipment, including lycra swings, yoga balls, therapy brushes, and ropes. This video will be helpful for families who want to continue therapy at home and keep their children active and engaged.
