Knuckles the Echidna is struggling with the pressure of being the guy, the hero, the Sonic the Hedgehog replacement. He’s treating his friends like rubbish, because he’s scared. When it’s no longer Sonic AND Knuckles, and just Knux by himself… well, it becomes Sonic vs Knuckles… at least in the dreadlocked tough guy’s head. At least Tails is here to try and give The Red Dude a bit of a pep talk. After all, what are friends for? And that pep talk is necessary, because there’s a massive Sonic boom coming in the form of a ginormous kaiju.
