'The Brook' was devised by Romaine Butterfield and is in the Island Bay Collection. Romaine is a former tutor of this club. 'The Brook' was danced at the Johnsonville SCD Club's tartan night on September 12, 2016, and Romaine can be seen dancing here. A tartan night is an ordinary club night except that dancers from other clubs are invited, and there is live music. We were lucky to have a five piece band comprising Mary McDonald, Heather Elder, Lynne Scott, Sharlene Penman and Richard Hardie. The MC was club tutor Rod Downey.
