A Montana tribal councilwoman was assaulted and “left for dead” inside a hotel room earlier this month before being found alive by a family member, according to a report and relatives. The victim, Silver Little Eagle, a member of the Northern Cheyenne tribal council, was attacked, along with a 31-year-old man, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Billings on May 16, USA Today reported, citing police. Little Eagle was hospitalized after the assault, the report said.
