A Journey Back in Time - Looking Through My Gran's Sewing Things and Stitching a Vintage Embroidery

Today I take you on a journey to look through just a few of my Gran's sewing things that she left to me. I love looking through vintage sewing patterns, magazines and embroidery transfers and seeing the designs of the past. This video takes an unexpected turn half way through as I decide to pick up my Gran's favourite piece that she didn't finish, and to stitch some of it myself, which was actually nerve wracking! I'm really interested in historical sewing, fashions and textiles from the past as well as textile restoration, so I hope you are too and that you enjoy this little journey I've been on.
