MIRAGE - Andreas Scholl

This is the video to my coverversion of "Scotch's" 80 Hit "Mirage". I am a kid of the 80s and was a huge fan of this Band. The authors of the song are: Fabio Margutti, David Zambelli and Vince Lancini. I turned their upbeat Italo Disco Hit into a slightly melancholic ballad. The result is quite different, but if shows that a great tune always stays a great tune; even if it arranged differently. The video was shot in two locations. The green screen shots and the studio scenes were filmed in our home studio in beautiful Kiedrich (Germany) and the "seaside" scenes were filmed by me in California during two concert trips. I used a Panasonic GH4 back then and meanwhile upgraded to the S1 which was used for the Kiedrich shots. So from music arranging, recording, mixing, mastering to video and post production everything was a "Friendship 7" one man production.
