Fire Rope Dart - Blown Away

This piece is dedicated to my best friend Lili Snow Yin. You were the first person to teach me to dance and your love for movement has inspired me forever. I've choreographed to Céline Dion, Kesha, and Imogen Heap, so it was only a matter of time before I landed on my absolute favorite singer! I had so much heartbreak, injury, and loss surrounding my flow in 2020 that I just couldn’t pick up my prop anymore, but found some humor in saying I owe it to Carrie to finish this dance. My first choreo piece, Ashes, was supposed to be filmed here at the Pullman Yard, so it's really amazing to take this legendary stage after everything that has happened since then.
