Luíza, who now owns an art gallery and Gabriel, a biologist meet at her stepfather's funeral fifteen years after they split up. She remarried with Alex, an engineer who despises her and had a son, Pedro with him, while he had several girlfriends and today shares an apartment with Jaqueline, a much younger woman in an unpretentious communion. The reunion makes him visit her in the art gallery and, driven by the fact that she is very unhappy at the wedding, they soon start an affair. At the same time, Alice, Gabriel's daughter with his ex-wife Bel, lives dilemmas when falling in love with a man, João, a poet and a girl, Ju at the same time.
