CALINAWAN (Yosi Horikawa and Daisuke Tanabe)

The first ever recorded collaboration between Yosi Horikawa and Daisuke Tanabe. In 2014, WSK invited both artists to Manila to come up with a new track. The collaboration was shot and edited by exp. film collective, Tito & Tita. The music was all made from field recordings taken at Tanay Rizal, Quezon City, and Calinawan, and music was composed in Manila city, Metro Manila. Calinawan is the name of the cave, and it also translates to "Clarity" from Tagalog. Supported by Japan Foundation Manila.
