I like her vocals alot and I think she fits. alSo if this is ur first time hearing the song the melody really is written like that LOL It took a while to grow on me honestly but now that it has. God i really love this song. My personal interpretation is kind of all over the place admittedly but I'll give it a shot. From what my tiny monkey brain has gathered, the title "idolatry" means to RLLY love and idolize something or someone. And I'm wondering if perhaps this is either 1. A reference to the rapture perhaps with false idols being a sin????!? Or it's just a commentary on how idolizing others too much will only lead to your obliteration? There's lots of messages that could be gleaned from it, especially as someone outside of the intended audience even. But
