Today on Kentucky Ballistics we see how much energy is transferred through hard body armor when it is shot by a rifle or shotgun. The armor used in today’s video is ceramic body armor and it is very old. We set up a block of clay behind the armor and then shoot it. The clay is a great way to show the potential for blunt force trauma. I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
Ammunition used in today’s video.
