Dido's Torment

This is a composition of mine very loosely based on Henry Purcell's famous "Dido's Lament". It will feature on my recording of the Bach gamba sonatas with Francesco Corti, to be released in April 2021. I made the composition for the show, "De Muziekfabriek". On the show they have a really cool item called Vrij Spel, (which means free-kick, or free-play) where you take a well know classical hit and make your own version of it.
