Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Scotland based hard rock trio, The Amorettes began in 2009 by guitarist and vocalist Gill Montgomery and drummer Hannah McKay, inspired by bands such as AC/DC and Girlschool to name a few, the band secured it's sound and line-up once Hannah's sister Heather McKay was recruited to join on bass guitar. Winning over fans came easy for the trio for their fast pace, high energy rock and they released a debut album in 2010, this led the band to touring through out Europe and playing with such heavy weights as Wasp and Europe (band) to name a few. This would be followed by two more full length albums along with two Eps by 2016 and the Amorettes continue on full speed ahead and show no signs of slowing down. like the band at like us at
