In this tutorial we make a mold of a Monster Clay head using the shim method to establish a parting line. The mold was created using Easy Flo 120 casting resin thickened with PolyFiber Thickener. This type of mold is great for making fast, 2 piece mold for PlatSil Gel-OO, PlatSil Gel-10, and PlatSil Gel-25 props.
