Chasing traffic lights as we move from side to side All the screeching tyres coming through as a distant sound Avenues, highways and lanes Wanna drive you around Push the pedal down to catch an illusion of freedom Try forget the places you’ve been few seconds away Avenues, highways and lanes Keep counting your days Take your time as you find yourself At the crossroads once again In the middle of nowhere Staring through vapors of gas Clear your mind while you’re standing still Lean back and lose control And wait for the red-eyed statues To come for your soul Hold your breath in that desert place Take the chance to get away And read the signs Before you get back to the race Would you try so hard for the light in the end of the tunnel?
