Zakk Sabbath The Wizard Drum Cover TreyB

In my continuing series of “I can’t play like Bill Ward to save my ass” is a drum cover of The Wizard originally written by Black Sabbath. I went with the Zakk Sabbath version because as stated above, I just can’t play like Bill Ward (and I have tried repeatedly). In the cover, I’d love to say I had some planned out attack of using fills from all the different versions I’ve heard but honestly, I didn’t. I’ve played this in a variety of ways over the years so there is a nod to the original obviously, the Speak Of The Devil version and the #ZakkWylde version. It just comes out different every time I do it. This song has gone that way for me forever. I’d like to dedicate it to my friend Pat Bareis in Louisville. While he is a musician and a singer, he's just been my friend for many years in and out of music (and my respect for him is in and out of music as he's given back to his community, helped kids and raised a wonderful family).
