José Padilha is not the director you'd think of first for a RoboCop remake. But then you keep thinking and it makes perfect sense. His impact has been massive in Brazil, making films (Bus 174, Elite Squad, Elite Squad 2) that deal with police working on the dark side of the law. He has shown his sense of humor.
