Irene Gomez is sponsored by: The tender and serene piece written for guitar by Scott Ouellette, dedicated to Irene Gomez. I was very pleased to know Scott some months ago, when he introduced to me his piece for guitar "Cullare la tempesta" (to slow down the storm) a sweet lullaby played by the great Danish guitarist Per Olov Kindgren and that I shared with some of my students who enjoyed learning and playing! Later on, Scott generously composed this delicate piece that he named "Theme for Irene". I was moved by the delicacy of this piece and despite its shortness this piece offered me a rich scope to design melodies and rhythms in between the arpegios.
