Kulcha Kwest 3 - Episode 26: Thobani Khwela - Kyokushin karate instructor

Although my parents separate when I was 5, my mother encourage me to ta0ke part in karate from an early age. My father used to do karate as well. I lived with my mother up to high school, when I went to stay with my father in KZN. I continued training until I got my black belt and was selected to represent South Africa at a tournament in Japan in 2009. My quest is to learn the IsiZulu indigenous sport of stick-fighting and the Zulu way of living. The quest will be done in KZN. Catch Kulcha Kwest Sunday
