Chris Rea - Speed Album 'The Blue Jukebox'. Video part clips from the 1959 movie "On The Beach". Scientist Julian Osborn (Fred Astaire) wins the Australian Grand Prix, in which many racers, with nothing left to lose, die in accidents. On the Beach (1959) is an American post-apocalyptic drama film directed by Stanley Kramer and written by John Paxton, based on Nevil Shute's 1957 novel of the same name and starring Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire and Anthony Perkins. It was remade as an Australian television film by Southern Star Productions in 2000. The Blue Jukebox is a 2004 album by Chris Rea. The cover artwork is inspired by Edward Hopper's Nighthawks painting. Inside paintings, Chris Rea and Juan Carlos Ferrigno. Following his cancer scare, Chris Rea decided on a change in musical direction, and started to produce records with a more bluesy orientation. 2002's `Stony Road' was an absolute revelation, an album of very personal hard blues.
