In the Panathenean Stadium, Athens 90,000 spectator, ancient all-marble stadium, Vangelis performs his creation Conquest of Paradise from the 1492 movie soundtrack. The performance was part of the Opening Ceremony of the 6th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in 1997 in Athens.
