9/11 Prophetic WTC Rooftop Painting by Joanna Gilman Hyde

This is an art project "Self Organizing Galaxy" a 10,000 square foot painting where the painting was done at the World Trade Center #5 -- ten stories high at the base of the Twin Towers . Self Organizing Galaxy was painted the first week of September in 1984, took eight days to paint, and was signed on October 10th 1984 -- this was a year after Joanna graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York. "The building I was on originally for my test painting was The Commoditie
