Steve Holmes Nov 2014 Improv

Some new footage from the drum shed - still trying to get better at creating a theme in a solo context, as well as finding a balance between creating grooves, and soloing between them. I'm pleased with the drum and cymbal sounds I'm getting these days (Yamaha PHX and Zildjian). I'm still recording with Garage Band but hey, it's meeting my needs at this point. Also I did some experimenting with rendered spotlights in this one, not sure how I'm going to use them again, but it made a different enough look
