2023 Gumball 3000 arrives at Bruges checkpoint (raw footage)

Today the competitors from this year's Gumball 3000 (supercar rally on public roads for fundraising) arrived at Bruges, an official checkpoint for lunch. The race started on Saturday evening in Edinburgh. Yesterday (Sunday) the cars then headed to Londen where they stayed overnight. Today they took the Eurotunnel and came to Bruges, before heading to Amsterdam for tonight. The video starts with a car park at 't Zand, a second park for in case there were too many competitors at the same time that the car park at the city centre was full, however it was not needed. Since the arrival in London apparently was quite a chaos, the Belgian police decided to hold back the cars at 't Zand until there were 10, and then escort them together to the city centre, rather than letting them arrive by themselves.
