Weekend picnic in the winter sunshine

Weekends at the farm are a much more relaxed pace. Whilst it is the middle of winter here, we can have some beautiful sunny days throughout winter here at the farm. This weekend we were very fortunate with the weather. We baked fresh scones and packed a picnic with hot tea. We set off together for a nice spot in the big paddock. We all really enjoy each other’s company. Its special time with the girls, but also with the dogs sleeping over. Relationships with the dogs are always strengthened further after a stay at the farm. At the end of the day, it’s warm spots on the couch and a movie with the girls. Last night it was Gulliver’s Travels.
