Only 23 of the 59 Tomahawk missiles fired at the Syrian airbase seem to have reached their target. Of these, several appear to have not detonated, leaving mostly intact missiles after crashing. Trump's expenditure of about $140 million in the illegal attack seems to have had surprisingly little effect, other than killing 18 people, including civilians. The airbase was back to operations fighting ISIS later that afternoon. Many wondered whether the attack would spread the supposed chemical weapons stored at the airbase to nearby towns. But, since there were no chemical weapons there in reality, it was safe to give this tour immediately afterward. The chemical weapons story itself was fake news.
