This lovely aria from one of Gluck's reform operas is a lament for the loss of country and family, sung by Iphigenia. Sung by soprano Katy Compton; with oboe solo by Laura Perkett; piano by Eugenia Cheng; and Daniel Moss, Rachel Brown, Heather Neaveill-Kramer, and Veronica Nettles on strings.
