In this Photo Deconstruction I’m going to take you behind the scenes of a fashion shoot where I create beautiful sunset ambiance, even though it’s a cloudy day! This image was taken on location as part of my 3 Day Fashion Intensive. We originally intended for some beautiful natural light, but once we arrived on location it turned out to be cloudy! So what to do?? With a little thinking outside the box (or in this case outside the window lol) and a relatively simple 2 light setup, I was able to fake that gorgeous sunlight we were missing thanks to a large umbrella with diffusion and a bare bulb with a gel outside the window. An additional tool I used was a Black Pro Mist filter so that it would give off a highlight where the light was shining in from the window, emulating sunlight even more. Here’s the straight out of camera: 4:52 There wasn’t much to do in terms of post processing, other than boosting the contrast a bit from the light peering into the lens
