Film Manifestos - Scott Mackenzie

In response to Manifesto by artist Julian Rosefeldt, a film installation on show in Casco Amsterdam in June 2017, Mackenzie looks at the role of film manifestos in challenging and criticizing dominant ideologies. Mackenzie is assistant professor of Film and Media Studies at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. He is the author of Film Manifestos and Global Cinema Cultures (2014). An evening in EYE Filmmuseum Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Holland Festival.
