Francesco and Giovanni Tamagno Sing "Si Pel Ciel"

Si Pel Ciel from Verdi's Otello,recorded in 1903. I have adjusted the pitch from my previous posting of this title to reflect the original score pitch. I do not believe a downward transposition in this aria was necessary for Signor Tamagno, yet he was very ill by the time he made recordings. By all accounts he possessed a ringing high C, nearly to the end of his career. Fernando De Lucia is believed to have made such transpositions, as did a number of other singers of that era.
