NASA TV Briefing Previews Launch of Asteroid Bound Spacecraft

On August 17, NASA hosted a briefing at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, DC to preview the launch of the Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) spacecraft – the first U.S. spacecraft destined to rendezvous with, study and return a sample of an asteroid.
