Cyd Charisse

Cyd Charisse was an unforgettably elegant dancer. Fred Astaire called her "beautiful Arguably the best female dancer in film history, Cyd was clearly the smoothest and had some of the most celebrated numbers. Classically trained in ballet, she starred with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire in two of the best musical/dance movies: Singin in the Rain and The Band Wagon.
