Atreus runs away from home (typical teenager lol) after having a blowup with everyone at Sindri's, including turning into a bear and injuring his friend and calling his father an a**hole.
Shockingly, he survives this and makes his way back to Midgard where we find out Freya has been ignoring an old friend. Lost and cold, Atreus takes up Odin's offer to come to Asgard.
While he thinks he's the one spying on the Aesir, Odin is not that easily deceived (or deceived at all), in particular because of one of his top fellow gods in Heimdall. Indris Elba this is not! This version of Heimdall is, well, a jackass.
