In September 2018, our reporter Diana travelled to Inuvik, homeland of the Inuvialuit and Gwich'in peoples, and Tuktoyaktuk, an Inuvialuit Hamlet located on the shores of the Arctic Ocean at the tip of the Northwest Territories. With the recent opening of the Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway (ITH or Hwy 10) to the public, Chevrolet Canada worked with the Indigenous communities as part of their pursuit to #FindNewRoads, and to test out their 2019 Silverado pick-up truck on Canada’s first all-weather road to the Arctic Ocean!
