Alternative John Lewis Christmas Advert 2020 - This is Our Home

What began life as an idea, which came to me while watching my son play in his bedroom with his back turned to me, has developed over the last 12 months into something very special. Throughout the year, Andy and I threw multiple ideas around with the wider team, before progressing with this and we believe the end product is something our whole team can be proud of. Our aim is always to show an alternative and thought provoking version of Christmas through these short videos, with a story that can be linked to an important charity, to raise awareness and vital funds. Not every Christmas is a happy one and that’s what we want to illustrate in each video we produce. This one was shot in a single day, following strict government guidelines. Everyone was tested and precautions were taken at all times. It’s been a tough year for all of us with this pandemic but please stay strong. Love and help each other always.
