Jason has spent a long time building his perfect BMW, and I think there's plenty of people out there who might agree that this could be classic coupe perfection. From his email to me: "The original Engine block has been bored and it has a 2.8 crank from an e36. Forged H section rods and forged custom JE pistons with the original crown design. Compression is 10 to 1 and it make the engine just under 2.9 litre. 288 schrick cam, heavy duty rockers and adjustable timing wheel. Ported head with three angle valve seats and port matched inlet and exhaust. Big bore throttle body and no airflow meter, drilled standard airbox. Only been tuned on the road so no official figures but about 220bhp BTB manifold and stainless scorpion exhaust. Megasquirt ECU with wasted spark ignition. Cooler plugs from the earlier 325i. Baffled sump. Various new bits and Bob's to replace old stuff like alternator, starter, rad, housings. Suspension is KW v1, pollybushed arms and diff mount. Ne
